Did you know that it is recommended that you have a complete ophthalmologic examination every year, even for those who don’t wear glasses or contacts? Regular eye examinations help keep your vision clear and comfortable and more importantly help detect serious ocular and systemic conditions as early as possible.

During your yearly eye examination, our Doctors will provide you with an up-to-date prescription for glasses and/or contact lenses and thoroughly check the health of your eyes. Conditions such as dry eye, cataracts, diabetes, high blood pressure, vascular disorders, and age related macular degeneration can be detected during your yearly eye health check up. Early detection of these conditions is the key in providing the best treatment options currently available.

Dilation is part of your yearly eye health examination to aid in the detection of ocular and systemic conditions. Don’t have time to be dilated or worried about being blurry for up to six hours? No problem! Just ask about our new equipment that allows us to conduct the dilated portion of your examination quick and painless with no drops or blurry vision. The Optomap is a new piece of equipment in the Optometric community that can, in most cases, take the place of the traditional dilated examination. It’s fast, easy, affordable and the technology is unsurpassed!
