At the Eye Gallery, we have the most up-to-date and advanced technology in the eye care field. Our Retinal Thickness Analyzer, or RTA, is a high-tech diagnostic instrument that assists our Doctors in diagnosing and treating glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.

Testing with the RTA is fast and painless. A scan of the retina is obtained and the thickness of the retinal tissue is measured. The testing takes about three to eight minutes to complete and gives immediate results for the doctor to review. The RTA allows for more accurate and earlier diagnosis of glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy and provides extensive information needed to monitor for progression of these conditions.
